Üsküdar's Social Innovation Projects attracted the attention of ministries

Social innovation projects developed and carried out under the academic consultancy of Üsküdar University Founding Rector Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan aroused interest in ministries. At the meetings where these projects were introduced and their details were discussed, Üsküdar University Project Development Director Dr. Assist. Prof. Dr. Nebiye Yaşar emphasized the social contribution of the projects and their impact for the future. Within the scope of the meetings, the Ministry of Family and Social Services, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Interior General Directorate of Relations with Civil Society and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism General Directorate of Copyright came together.

Üsküdar University's social innovation projects continue to increase their impact across Turkey. Meetings held with ministries once again revealed how effective these projects are with the concrete solutions they offer to different segments of society. The projects are aimed to be disseminated both nationally and internationally by offering a wide range of cooperation.

Discussions on cooperation with Üsküdar University took place

The Ministry of Family and Social Services paid special attention to 'Family' themed projects among social innovation projects. It was stated that these projects play an important role in strengthening family unity and increasing communication and solidarity within the family. Ministry officials shared their views on the applicability of the projects in all segments of society and positive discussions were held regarding the cooperation with Üsküdar University in this field. Projects are of great importance for young people

The Ministry of Youth and Sports closely examined the "Positive Youth, Positive Future" project, which aims to contribute to the personal and social development of young people. It was emphasized that these projects have a great potential in terms of strengthening the future social roles of young people and equipping them with positive values. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Lecturer. Member Nebiye Yaşar, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Assoc. Prof. Dr. Safa Koçoğlu, Ministry of Youth and Sports Youth Projects Ministry Expert Furkan Gencer and the project support team participated.

The Ministry of Interior's General Directorate for Relations with Civil Society also assessed the potential of social innovation projects to strengthen relations with civil society organizations. It was stated that the projects constitute a model for civil society to contribute to the solution of social problems more effectively. In this context, it was stated that the projects can set an example for NGOs across Turkey. Prof. Dr. Assist. In the meeting held with the participation of Nebiye Yaşar, Member of the Ministry of Interior, Fahrettin Kaya, Head of Foreign Relations and IT Department of the Ministry of Interior, Fatih Günay, Head of Department of the Ministry of Interior General Directorate of Relations with Civil Society, and Sercan Yazıcı, Planning Specialist of the Ministry of Interior General Directorate of Relations with Civil Society, the details were discussed.

It is necessary to raise awareness on copyrights of cultural projects

The General Directorate of Copyright of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, on the other hand, emphasized the impact of the projects in the cultural field and their evaluation in terms of copyrights. It was emphasized that these projects can play an important role in protecting cultural values and transferring them to the future. It was also stated that cultural projects should be copyright compliant and raise awareness in this field.
