Directorate of Strategy Development and Quality

The Directorate of Strategy Development and Quality operates as a unit that guides the university’s institutional development by adopting strategic management and quality-focused approaches in line with globalization, advancements in the scientific community, the concept of lifelong learning, and the needs of a knowledge-based society.

The Directorate conducts its work in accordance with the Quality Assurance Guidelines; and, based on the Graded Evaluation Framework established by the Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK), contributes to ensuring that the university’s education and teaching, research and development, social contribution, and governance activities are carried out in accordance with national and international quality standards.

In line with a strategic management approach, the Directorate of Strategy Development and Quality carries out activities such as collecting, analyzing, and evaluating data and information aimed at improving management and services; examining external factors that may affect the university’s educational services; and conducting internal capacity analyses. In addition, it contributes to institutional development processes by conducting various studies to measure the effectiveness of services and stakeholder satisfaction levels.

The Directorate also coordinates the preparation of the university’s strategic plan and performance program, evaluates implementation results in line with established goals, and carries out work aimed at developing performance and quality indicators.

To ensure the effective establishment and sustainable management of the quality assurance system, the Office systematically monitors processes and evaluates the data obtained through regular reports, thereby continuously ensuring the university’s compliance with quality standards. In accordance with the principles of quality standards in healthcare and compliance with ISO standards, the Office also contributes to the coordination of quality processes at healthcare institutions affiliated with the university.
