Üsküdar University Quality Commission
The Üsküdar University Quality Commission was established by Senate Resolution No. 2015/23, dated August 27, 2015, to coordinate quality assurance processes.
The Commission meets at least twice each academic year; decisions are made by a simple majority of the total number of members. The Quality Directorate is responsible for organizing the meetings and managing the administrative processes related to the Commission’s work.
The Rector serves as the chair of the Commission; in the Rector’s absence, the Vice Rector designated by the Rector presides over the meetings.
The Quality Commission consists of the Rector, the Vice Rector, the Deans of the Faculties, the Directors of the Institutes and Vocational Schools, the Secretary General, the Director of Quality, the Quality Manager, and a Student Representative.
When deemed necessary, subcommittees and working groups may be established upon the Commission’s recommendation and with the Rector’s approval. Additionally, information, reports, and data may be requested from academic and administrative units for quality-related activities.
