Üsküdar University Quality Commission
The Üsküdar University Quality Commission was established by Senate Decision No. 2015/23 dated August 27, 2015, to coordinate quality assurance processes.
The Commission meets at least twice each academic year; decisions are made by a simple majority of the full membership. The organization of meetings and administrative processes related to the Commission's work are carried out by the Quality Directorate.
The Commission is chaired by the Rector; in the Rector's absence, the Vice Rector appointed by the Rector chairs the meetings.
The Quality Commission consists of the Rector, Vice Rector, Faculty Deans, Institute and Vocational School Directors, Secretary General, Quality Director, Quality Manager, and a Student Representative.
When deemed necessary, subcommittees and working groups may be established upon the recommendation of the Commission and with the approval of the Rector. In addition, information, reports, and data may be requested from academic and administrative units for quality-related work.
