

Üsküdar University has been accepted as a member of the European University Association (EUA) and the Turkish Universities Association (TÜRKÜNİB).
Adding another step to its internationalization vision, Üsküdar University has taken a strategic step towards strengthening its academic, scientific, and cultural ties with universities in the Turkish world by becoming a member of the European University Association (EUA), Europe's most prestigious higher education network, and has been accepted as a member of the Turkish Universities Association (TÜRKÜNİB).
Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör commented on these important developments, stating, "Our journey toward becoming a global university continues to gain momentum. We are accelerating our collaboration processes with our fellow universities."

Üsküdar University has taken another step towards its internationalization vision by joining the European University Association (EUA), Europe's most prestigious higher education network. In line with its vision of strengthening academic, scientific, and cultural ties with universities in the Turkish world, it has taken a strategic step by being accepted as a member of the Turkish Universities Association (TÜRKÜNİB).
The European University Association (EUA), which operates to develop quality, cooperation, and academic standards in European higher education, brings together more than 900 universities and rectors' conferences from over 49 countries, representing the continent's largest and most influential higher education network.
As a strategic partner in the formulation of higher education policies with the European Commission and international organizations, the Association brings together the world's most prestigious academic institutions under its umbrella.

The official inclusion of Üsküdar University in this distinguished network, which includes established Turkish universities such as Boğaziçi, ODTÜ, Koç, Sabancı, and Bilkent, is considered an important confirmation of the university's international academic standards.
Üsküdar University's membership application was approved at the last meeting of the EUA Council and has come into effect.

Emphasizing that membership is a strategic step toward the university's global goals, Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör said, "Our journey toward becoming a global university has gained significant momentum with this step."

The European University Association regularly evaluates its member institutions in terms of quality-focused education, teaching, and research activities, institutional development, innovative practices, and scientific productivity. The EUA, which creates a qualified development network by occasionally preparing special recommendation and guidance reports for universities with the aim of spreading good practices in higher education, also makes a significant contribution to its members' pursuit of continuous improvement and excellence.

This membership is seen as an important milestone in the university's scientific outreach process with its sister regions.

The Turkish Universities Union (TÜRKÜNİB) operates as a prestigious union that brings together distinguished higher education institutions in Turkish-speaking countries under one roof. The union has fundamental goals such as encouraging the sharing of knowledge and experience among its members, developing joint research projects, and increasing student and academic mobility. In addition to Turkey, many reputable universities from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and Hungary are members of TÜRKÜNİB.
Through its work on joint diploma programs, academic exchange projects, the development of quality assurance systems in education, and joint scientific publications, the Union is establishing a strong network of interaction among universities in the Turkic world.
