The Turkish New Media and Communication program has received full accreditation for five years!

The Department of New Media and Communication (Turkish) at the Faculty of Communication, Üsküdar University, has been granted full accreditation for a period of five years following an evaluation process conducted by the Association for Communication Studies (İLAD). This accreditation confirms that the Department of New Media and Communication (Turkish) meets national quality assurance standards.

It had undergone a comprehensive review

As part of the evaluation conducted between November 9 and 12, 2025, the department underwent a comprehensive review in terms of its academic structure, teaching and learning processes, and institutional operations. 

The process involved a multidimensional analysis that included not only academic and administrative staff but also students and external stakeholders.

Continuous improvement and a sustainable quality approach

Accreditation—a result of the efforts carried out in line with Üsküdar University’s quality-focused approach to education—once again demonstrated the institution’s commitment to continuous improvement and sustainable quality. 

Committed to excellence in education, the university continues to raise its quality standards thanks to its strong academic faculty, student-centered approach, and effective communication with its stakeholders.

Achieved national-level quality assurance

The 5-year full accreditation achieved not only certifies that the Turkish Department of New Media and Communication has attained national-level quality assurance but also serves as a concrete demonstration of Üsküdar University’s commitment to quality in higher education.
