The Quality Club has been accepted into the National Federation of Technology Clubs

The Üsküdar University Quality Club has been accepted as a member of the National Technology Clubs Association Platform. The application process, completed under the leadership of Quality Club Advisor Prof. Dr. Aylin Yalçın Sarıbey, has opened the door to new opportunities for collaboration and development in the fields of science, entrepreneurship, and sustainability for club members. Furthermore, this membership represents a significant achievement on a national scale for technology- and quality-focused initiatives.

With its membership in the National Technology Clubs Association Platform, the Üsküdar University Quality Club has gained the opportunity to contribute more actively to national initiatives in the fields of technology, science, and entrepreneurship.

Platform membership offers important opportunities that will both support the club’s institutional development and encourage students to participate in high-quality projects.

Platform membership offers significant advantages to students

As part of its membership in the National Technology Clubs Union Platform, the Üsküdar University Quality Club will: gained access to numerous important opportunities, such as participating in activities organized by TÜBİTAK, networking with technology and entrepreneurship clubs at other universities, developing partnerships with Organized Industrial Zones (OSB), and organizing peer-to-mentor training sessions.

Additionally, provided certain criteria are met, the club will have the opportunity to apply for financial support through the Club Development Support Calls.

The first “Student Conference” was held at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences

The Faculty of Human and Social Sciences at Üsküdar University organized the “Faculty of Human and Social Sciences Student Conference.” The conference emphasized the importance of transforming 21st-century competencies into concrete projects by integrating mathematics and statistics into the social sciences. It featured three sessions titled “Gender, Power, and Representation,” “History and Social Transformation,” and “Current Research in Psychology.” Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, Founding Rector of Üsküdar University, also attended the conference, where students presented projects they had prepared across various disciplines and shared their work in diverse fields of the social sciences.

The First Student Congress Was Held at Üsküdar Communication

The Faculty of Communication at Üsküdar University organized the “Student Symposium on Communication Studies (İFİÇ)” for the first time this year. At the symposium, students had the opportunity to present the projects they developed in the field of communication in an academic setting, while topics such as changing communication practices in the age of artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, creativity, and academic production processes took center stage. During the day-long sessions, students presented papers they had prepared in a wide range of fields, including advertising, digital media, artificial intelligence, perception management, education, health, and accessibility.

Scientific research and innovative ideas came together at the MDBF Student Conference

The Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Üsküdar University organized the “Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Student Conference.” As part of the conference, students had the opportunity to present projects they had prepared in various disciplines in an academic setting. The conference, which included students from many departments ranging from engineering to biomedical engineering, forensic science to molecular biology and genetics, aimed to foster a culture of research and encourage scientific output while sharing innovative and interdisciplinary work.
