

The peer review process conducted at the Institute of Health Sciences at Üsküdar University has been successfully completed. The final report shared at the conclusion of the visit comprehensively addressed both the institute’s key strengths and areas requiring improvement. In addition, the quality-related initiatives and improvement processes were examined in detail.

The evaluation, which took place in the Senate Hall on the Main Campus, was conducted by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammed Enis Bulak, Director of the Institute of Natural Sciences, and Dr. Öznur Eyilcim, Assistant Professor in the Food Technology Program at the School of Health Services.
The evaluation process was chaired by Vice Rector and Director of the Institute of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Türker Tekin Ergüzel. Participants in the process included the institute administration, department chairs, graduates of graduate programs, and staff from the Office of Student Affairs. The peer review process was also documented in meeting minutes.
In addition, an evaluation with graduate students was conducted by Asude Nur Algül, the Student Representative of the Institute of Addiction and Forensic Sciences.
The evaluation, which began with a presentation on the institute and its graduate programs, covered the institute’s mission and vision, strategic goals and objectives, the curricula of the graduate programs, the number of students enrolled in graduate programs, satisfaction rates, events organized by the institute, meetings held with external stakeholders, social contribution and corporate social responsibility initiatives, quality-related efforts, and improvement processes were discussed in detail.
Following the evaluation, the evaluation team comprehensively reviewed the institute’s strengths and areas for improvement.
The evaluation process was then concluded with the sharing of the final report.
