The First Aid and Emergency Care and Medical Laboratory Techniques programs, offered by the Üsküdar University School of Health Services (SHMYO), have successfully completed the evaluation process conducted by MEDEK and have earned “Full Accreditation.” During the on-site visit, the programs’ educational infrastructure and academic qualifications were evaluated, demonstrating that they meet quality standards in vocational education.

During the on-site visit conducted by MEDEK on October 30–31 and November 1, 2025, the educational and instructional processes, academic qualifications, physical and technological infrastructure, and practical training opportunities of the First Aid and Emergency Care and Medical Laboratory Techniques programs were comprehensively evaluated.
At the conclusion of the site visit, the program closing statement was read, and the evaluation process was completed.

The evaluation process was conducted under the coordination of SHMYO Deputy Directors Assoc. Prof. Dr. Feride Kulalı Özdek and Lecturer Esad Sadık Demirtaş.
The evaluation team inspected the laboratories, practical training areas, workshops, and classrooms on campus to gather detailed information regarding the educational infrastructure.

According to the official results announced by MEDEK, both the Emergency Medical Services and Medical Laboratory Techniques programs have earned “Full Accreditation,” valid from January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2029.

This achievement once again underscores the importance that Üsküdar University’s School of Health Sciences and Vocational Education (SHMYO) places on quality assurance in vocational education and its practice-oriented educational philosophy.
