Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan: "People who succeed in dreaming can produce projects"

Delivering the opening speeches of the project launch meeting, Üsküdar University Founding Rector, Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan drew attention to the importance of the climate of possibility and project culture. Tarhan; "First of all, people who succeed in dreaming can produce projects. After an idea comes to mind, this idea has an incubation period. The idea is incubating. We also have an incubation center. Incubation in minds is important here. It incubates. After incubation, it emerges when you least expect it, when you are busy with something else. For example, Archimedes thought of it in the bathhouse. Newton had it under an apple tree. A brilliant idea is born out of the blue, there is an incubation. Teamwork is also important. One remains me, but at the same time becomes us. It is important to be us while remaining me. In other words, they will be in a team, but they will also have their own private space, their own autonomy. We need to be able to do such teamwork."

Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör: "We enjoy as we produce"

Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör mentioned that when the studies are transformed into production, they will touch humanity; "The further we go in scientific production, the more we spread it, the more we transform what we talk about here, what is done at the university into production, the more we will touch humanity. We will also strengthen our mission to serve humanity. The more we produce, the more we enjoy, the more we produce, the more the energy of production increases. As we transform the results of this into some awards, some results, this turns into a greater production energy."

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Müge Ensari Özay: "We have a 150 percent increase in student projects"
