Different cultures meet at 'International Day' event
Üsküdar University Health, Culture and Sports Department (SKS) organized 'International Day' event. In the event where colorful images emerged, students introduced the cultures and richness of different geographies.
Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör and Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Deniz Ülke Kaynak also attended the event held in the garden of Üsküdar University South Campus and visited the students' stands.
Different cultures introduced their countries
International students from many countries such as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Palestine, Nigeria, Syria, Egypt, India and Yemen took part in the event.
Students introduced their country-specific dishes, beverages and handicrafts. There were colorful moments in the event where cultural interaction was ensured.
Fun-filled moments were experienced
The students had fun-filled moments with songs and halay songs from their own cultures.
Traditional dishes were served
During the event, students were offered Garrab and drinks.
At the Turkish cultural table, flavors of Turkish cuisine such as lahmacun, raw meatballs, stuffed meatballs and Turkish delight were served to the students.
