Accreditation success of Molecular Biology and Genetics departments!

Üsküdar University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences has once again demonstrated its quality in education. Molecular Biology and Genetics (Turkish) and Molecular Biology and Genetics (English) departments within the faculty have achieved a significant success documenting their academic competence. Both departments were awarded a 5-year accreditation by FEDEK. The decision was notified by the relevant institution in an official letter.

Education quality certified

With the accreditation obtained as a result of the studies carried out with the contributions of department heads and academicians under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Osman Çerezci, Dean of Üsküdar University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, the quality of the education provided and its compliance with national standards were once again certified.

The accreditation granted by FEDEK is given to departments that successfully fulfill the student-centered education approach, the quality of teaching staff, the adequacy of program outcomes and continuous improvement processes.

Üsküdar strengthens its administrative staff with artificial intelligence trainings

Üsküdar University Personnel Department and Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Software Engineering Department organized a comprehensive 3-week artificial intelligence training for senior administrative staff within the scope of digital transformation vision. In the trainings organized, the basic concepts of artificial intelligence, application areas in universities and various artificial intelligence tools were discussed. The workshops held within the scope of the training focused on visualization and interpretation.

The Medical Biochemistry Laboratory was re-accredited within the scope of ISO 15189:2023 Medical Laboratory Accreditation as a result of the evaluation process carried out by TÜRKAK. With its expert staff and strong infrastructure, Üsküdar University continues to set an example for the sector with its high quality approach in healthcare services.

Times Higher Education (THE), one of the world's most prestigious higher education rating organizations, announced the results of the 2025 Impact Ranking, which measures the global impact and sustainability contributions of universities.

Üsküdar University achieved a global success by entering the most elite 25 percentile (Q1) among 2,526 universities worldwide, and managed to enter the top 500 worldwide in 9 of the 17 labels it applied for.

The university ranked first in Turkey among foundation universities that were successful in all 17 labels it applied for.
