

A quality meeting was held with students at the Üsküdar University School of Health Services (SHMYO). SHMYO faculty members met with student representatives from the programs to evaluate quality processes. During the meeting, attention was drawn to the role of student feedback in improving the quality of education, and the contributions of accreditation to the programs and students were discussed. At the meeting, which aimed to strengthen a student-centered approach to education, the importance of continuously improving quality processes with the participation of all stakeholders was emphasized.

The meeting, held at the Emirnebi Conference Hall on the Çarşı Campus of Üsküdar University, was attended by Dr. Ömer Faruk Karasakal, Director of the Vocational School of Health Sciences (SHMYO), Deputy Directors Assoc. Prof. Dr. Feride Kulalı Özdek and Lecturer Esad Sadık Demirtaş, along with other faculty members and student representatives from the program.

In his opening remarks, Assistant Professor Ömer Faruk Karasakal emphasized that student feedback is extremely important in quality processes and that the quality of education can be further enhanced through students’ opinions and contributions.

Dr. Öznur Karaoğlu, Chair of the SHMYO Quality Commission and Program Chair of Health Institutions Management, in her presentation at the meeting, highlighted the benefits that accreditation provides to our programs and students, and underscored the need for quality processes to be embraced and prioritized by all stakeholders.
With this traditionally held meeting, the focus was on ensuring the sustainability of a student-centered approach to education and maintaining quality processes at a level that allows for continuous improvement.
