

A peer review process was conducted at the Üsküdar University School of Health Services (SHMYO). As part of the process, efforts aimed at promoting, fostering, and continuously improving a culture of quality were discussed.

The evaluation process, held at the Üsküdar University Çarşı Campus, was attended by Rector’s Advisor Prof. Dr. Muhsin Konuk; SHMYO Director Dr. Ömer Faruk Karasakal, Assistant Professor; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Harika Öykü Dinç, a faculty member from the Department of Medical Microbiology at the Faculty of Medicine; Sena Erdoğan from the Quality Directorate, along with other academics, representatives from department heads, external stakeholders, alumni, and students.

While the peer review process was chaired by Rector’s Advisor Prof. Dr. Muhsin Konuk, the general informational presentation was delivered by Dr. Ömer Faruk Karasakal, Director of the Vocational School of Health Sciences (SHMYO).
During the presentation, comprehensive information was shared regarding the college’s educational activities, quality assurance system, and ongoing initiatives.

Following the presentation, on-site inspections were conducted of the SHMYO’s physical infrastructure and its educational and practical laboratories.
During this multi-stakeholder process, internal self-assessments were conducted, and both strengths and areas for improvement were addressed from a holistic perspective.
The peer review process concluded with the reading of the closing statement by the evaluation team and a group photo.
