Quality-oriented student meeting was held at Üsküdar SHMYO

Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (SHMYO) brought student representatives together with the Quality Commission Presidency in order to ensure that the quality assurance system and student-oriented education approach are better understood by the students. Speaking at the meeting, Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (SHMYO) Director Prof. Dr. Mesut Karahan emphasized the importance of mutual communication in the education and training process.

The meeting was held at Üsküdar University Çarşı Campus Emir Nebi Conference Hall. Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk Karasakal and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Feride Kulalı Özdek, academicians and students attended the meeting.

Quality processes and the role of students in this process were discussed at the meeting.

The importance of mutual communication in the education and training process

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Üsküdar University SHMYO Director Prof. Dr. Mesut Karahan emphasized the importance of mutual communication in the education and training process. Stating that he found the participation of student representatives very valuable, Karahan thanked all participants who contributed to the meeting.

"Plan-Act-Check-Act" cycle was explained

Quality Commission Chairman Dr. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Öznur Karaoğlu discussed the quality processes and the work carried out in detail in her presentation at the meeting. Explaining the "Plan-Do-Check-Act" cycle, Karaoğlu emphasized the importance of students' responsibilities and contributions in this process.

Students' requests and demands will be thoroughly evaluated

At the meeting, the opinions and suggestions of student representatives on areas that need to be developed at the institution and program level and strengths were received. It was stated that the demands and requests of the students would be meticulously evaluated. At the end of the meeting, a survey was conducted to analyze the impact of the decisions taken on the representatives.

Student-centered education approach is developing

Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services aims to strengthen its student-centered education approach and contribute to the sustainability of its quality assurance system through such meetings.
