Strategy Development and Quality Directorate
The Strategy Development and Quality Directorate operates as a unit that guides the institutional development of the university by adopting strategic management and quality-oriented approaches in line with globalization, developments in the world of science, the concept of lifelong learning, and the needs of a knowledge-based society.
The Directorate carries out its activities in accordance with the Quality Assurance Directive and contributes to ensuring that the university’s education and training, research and development, social contribution, and governance activities are conducted in compliance with national and international quality standards, based on the Rubric set by the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK).
In line with the strategic management approach, the Strategy Development and Quality Directorate carries out activities such as collecting, analyzing, and evaluating data and information aimed at improving management and services; examining external factors that may affect the university’s educational services; and conducting internal capacity analyses. In addition, it contributes to institutional development processes by conducting various studies to measure the effectiveness of services and stakeholder satisfaction levels.
The Directorate also coordinates the preparation of the university’s strategic plan and performance program, evaluates implementation results in line with the defined objectives, and carries out activities aimed at improving performance and quality indicators.
To establish and sustainably manage an effective quality assurance system, the Directorate systematically monitors processes and continuously oversees the university’s compliance with quality standards by evaluating the data obtained through regular reports. It also contributes to the coordination of quality processes of the university-affiliated healthcare institutions in line with the principles of compliance with healthcare quality standards and ISO norms.
