Faculty of Medicine started medical education accreditation studies

Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine started to work on Accreditation of Medical Education on a national and international scale. The first leg of the organized work with TEPDAD, a quality organization recognized by the Higher Education Quality Board and the World Federation of Medical Education, was the visit to Health Sciences University Hamidiye Medical Faculty.

University of Health Sciences Hamidiye Faculty of Medicine Dean Prof. Dr. Erdoğan Çetinkaya, Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Ebru Kale, Hamidiye Faculty of Medicine graduate students Fulya Senem Karaahmetoğlu and Zeynep Betül Özcan, and Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine Accreditation Commission Chair Prof. Dr. Nilgün Tekkeşin and Faculty of Medicine Secretary Zeynal Abidin Kocadağ attended the meeting.

Accreditation preparation processes were mentioned

During the meetings, the processes experienced by the University of Health Sciences Hamidiye Medical Faculty while preparing for Medical Education Accreditation studies were mentioned. Mutual ideas were exchanged.

Prof. Dr. Nilgün Tekkeşin and Zeynal Abidin Kocadağ, Secretary of the Faculty of Medicine, expressed their gratitude to the accreditation teams of Hamidiye Medical Faculty of the University of Health Sciences for their valuable knowledge and experience.

It was mentioned that all academic, administrative staff and students participating in the accreditation studies set out together to contribute to the improvement of the quality of medical education, health service delivery and the improvement of the health level of the society.
