Quality Commission

Üsküdar University Quality Commission

Üsküdar University Quality Commission was established with the Senate Decision dated August 27, 2015 and numbered 2015/23 in order to coordinate quality assurance processes.

The Commission convenes at least twice in each academic year; decisions are taken by the absolute majority of the total number of members. The organization of the meetings and administrative processes related to the work of the commission are carried out by the Quality Directorate.

The commission is chaired by the Rector; in the absence of the Rector, the Vice Rector appointed by the Rector chairs the meetings.

The Quality Commission consists of the Rector, Vice Rector, Deans of Faculties, Directors of Institutes and Vocational Schools, Secretary General, Quality Director, Quality Manager and a Student Representative.

When deemed necessary, sub-commissions and working groups can be established upon the recommendation of the Commission and the approval of the Rector. In addition, information, reports and data can be requested from academic and administrative units for quality studies.
