'Project Cycle Management Training' from Young Minds

Young Minds Academy "Project Cycle Management Training" (PCM) was held by Dr. Nebiye Yaşar, Director of Üsküdar University Young Minds Academy.

The training was attended by students of the Young Social Work Community studying at different universities, Üsküdar University students, members of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Siirt Associations and academicians from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine.

Participants were shown applications on project software and were taught how to be successful by using what kind of methods and how to achieve cost, time and quality targets in case they encounter different project problems with the application examples in the training.

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan: "Our aim is to prevent problems in society before they grow"

Üsküdar University continues to strengthen the work of the Social Contribution Coordinatorship, which was established in line with the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK) in order for universities to actively support social development. The 2nd Consultation Meeting brought together representatives of academia, public and civil society. In this context, it was pointed out that Üsküdar University is the university that produces the most entrepreneurs in Turkey. Üsküdar District Governor Adem Yazıcı, who attended the meeting, emphasized that the issue of social contribution is very important. Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, Founding Rector of Üsküdar University, underlined that the family is the last refuge against the onslaught of modernism and that the second biggest danger is addiction. Prof. Tarhan also stated that the aim of the Coordinatorship is to prevent problems in society before they grow by involving students.

Üsküdar strengthens its administrative staff with artificial intelligence trainings

Üsküdar University Personnel Department and Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Software Engineering Department organized a comprehensive 3-week artificial intelligence training for senior administrative staff within the scope of digital transformation vision. In the trainings organized, the basic concepts of artificial intelligence, application areas in universities and various artificial intelligence tools were discussed. The workshops held within the scope of the training focused on visualization and interpretation.
