Prof. Dr. Assist. Prof. Hasan Çiçek attended the conference in Scotland

Üsküdar University Industrial Engineering Department Head Dr. Assoc. Hasan Çiçek attended the "8th International Conference on Information Communication and Management (ICICM 2018)" conference held in Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom.
At the conference attended by scientists from 40 countries, Çiçek, who was the only person from Turkey to present an article, presented the article "Difficulties and Solution Proposals Relevant in the Application of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Standards to Small and Medium Sized (SME) Companies" at the conference.

Stating that she also had the opportunity to introduce Üsküdar University at the conference, Dr. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Çiçek added that she had the opportunity to meet many scientists from different countries.

Üsküdar University Personnel Department and Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Software Engineering Department organized a comprehensive 3-week artificial intelligence training for senior administrative staff within the scope of digital transformation vision. Times Higher Education (THE), one of the world's most prestigious higher education rating organizations, announced the results of the 2025 Impact Ranking, which measures the global impact and sustainability contributions of universities.

Üsküdar University achieved a global success by entering the most elite 25 percentile (Q1) among 2,526 universities worldwide, and managed to enter the top 500 worldwide in 9 of the 17 labels it applied for.

The university ranked first in Turkey among foundation universities that were successful in all 17 labels it applied for.
